Dean Koontz is a name that ensures a best selling novel. He can be scary, funny, morbid, or sentimental. His range and ingenious mixture of genres is outdone only by his use of positive themes. No matter how dismal the story may be there is almost always a positive life lesson at the end, especially in his later works. He signed this bookplate for me which is inside my copy of From the Corner of His Eye. I scanned and combined the images to create the one you see. Incidentally, I didn’t know this novel would turn out to be my favorite of all he’s written so far. He also sent me a signed form letter with the bookplate. I’ve included only the bottom portion of the letter along with the short note he wrote. I've been told by some Koontz fans that they can clearly see his influence in my storytelling style. Hopefully it will be enough to make me enjoyable to read.
